Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a popular trekking route in Nepal that takes you to the base camp of Mount Annapurna, the tenth-highest mountain in the world. The trek takes about 7-12 days to complete and passes through beautiful landscapes, traditional villages, and diverse cultures. The trek starts and ends in Pokhara and offers breathtaking views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and other Himalayan peaks. The trail is well-marked and offers different levels of difficulty, making it suitable for both experienced and novice trekkers. It is recommended to go with a guide and to be well prepared with proper gear and equipment.


Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu: Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be met by a representative of our company and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city and preparing for the trek.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara (820m/2,690ft): After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, a beautiful lakeside city that serves as the gateway to the Annapurna region. The drive takes around 6-7 hours and offers stunning views of the Himalayas.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ghandruk (1,940m/6,360ft): After breakfast, drive to Nayapul and begin the trek to Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village. The trail passes through beautiful terraced fields and small villages, with stunning views of the mountains throughout.

Day 4: Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m/7,120ft): Today’s trek is a steep climb up to Chhomrong, a Gurung village with stunning views of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre.

Day 5: Trek to Dovan (2,600m/8,530ft): The trail descends through forests to the Chhomrong Khola and then ascends steeply to Sinuwa. From here, the trail descends to the Modi Khola and then follows the river upstream to Dovan.

Day 6: Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m/12,140ft): Today’s trek takes you through the beautiful Machhapuchhre Base Camp, with stunning views of Machhapuchhre and other peaks in the Annapurna range.

Day 7: Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,550ft): Today, you will reach the Annapurna Base Camp, the highlight of the trek. The trail winds through moraines and offers stunning views of the Annapurna range.

Day 8: Trek back to Bamboo (2,340m/7,680ft): Today’s trek is a descent back down to Bamboo, with beautiful views of the mountains throughout.

Day 9: Trek to Jhinu Danda and drive to Pokhara: Today’s trek takes you to Jhinu Danda, where you can enjoy a soak in the natural hot springs. Afterward, trek to Samrung and meet your driver for the return drive to Pokhara. In the evening, celebrate the end of the trek with a delicious meal and drinks.
